Each Thursday afternoon all the children in the school from Reception to Year 6 are put into one of 14 groups. All the groups have animal names. Each group then does an enrichment activity. The activities could be cooking, forest schools, sport, yoga, art, ICT, drawing, gardening.
This year due to COVID children work in their year groups. Each year group is split in half, so for the double year groups there are 4 different groups. The children rotate activities every 3 weeks. This means that every term each child has taken part in 4 different activities. On weeks that are slightly longer, children may stay within their class and take part in certain festivities, this includes, a Halloween party and Christmas activities.
Please see below some pictures of the children taking part in these activities.
