Anti-Bullying Week 2018

This November we celebrated Anti-Bullying Week by thinking about how bullying is not only against our school TORCH values but it's also not a British Value. Over the week we have looking at different British Values respect, tolerance, democracy, rule of law and individual liberty to see what it means to be British and that bullying is just not a part of this.

Year 3 and 4 investigate individual liberty.
Year 1 discovered how respect grows
Our odd socks taught us that we are all different

Bullying - It's just not British!

Stand Up To Bullying Day

June 13th 2018

The children at Holly Grove have revisited the anti-bullying message through celebrating differences.

Diversity was the focus in assembly, along with the British and TORCH values of respect and tolerance.

We also looked at the UNICEF Rights of the Child, the basic rights every child is entitled to.

We are proud of our children's attitudes towards preventing bullying and how we all work together to make Holly Grove a safe and happy place where everyone is welcome.
