Residential Visits

During the Summer Term, we take Year 6 students for a weeks residential stay at Standon Bowers; which is a historical residential setting and a great base for exploring the great countryside of Staffordshire. This year we went to Laches Wood  Outdoor Centre.  We have a varied range of activities during the week, including: indoor caving, archery, orienteering, team building activities, including canoeing on the canal, BMXing, high ropes, rounders, a disco and we even fitted in the England footie Match!!

We even had a day off site, but as it rained so much we cut it short and spent the afternoon checking out RAF Cosford. The residential helps the children to become more independent and look to the future - High School is only a few weeks away! They make friends, share experiences, have a go at things they would have never usually had the opportunity to have tried! All in all, its a great experience for the children, one they will never forget!

Have a look at some of the pictures we have taken during this year's residential visit.
