Outdoor Adventure Playground, Update!

The consultation period for the different projects has now closed and now Lichfield District Council will get together with Burntwood Town Council to consider the different groups proposals. Then they will go before the council cabinet to make the final decisions over which projects will be funded through the 106 money. We won't hear until the beginning of September if we have been successful! Thank you all for you support and for putting comments on the website supporting our proposal! Fingers crossed we will hear some positive news in September.

We Need Your Support!

We have applied for £7,000 from Lichfield District Council towards the building of an outdoor adventure playground. We feel the outdoor playground would support the development of outdoor learning opportunties for all the children at Holly Grove Primary School. We feel the outdoor playground would help to promote increased physical health, enhance personal and communication skills, help with problem solving and team building, help with mobility and coordination skills as well as being lots of fun!

Can we ask for your support by going to the Section 106 website and commenting on our proposal. The more support we have the more likely we are to gain the money. We are proposal number 16 Outdoor adventure playground.
