Jack and the Beanstalk in Pantoland – 2026

This week, children from Year 1 to Year 6 enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Tamworth to watch Jack and the Beanstalk in Pantoland — and what a spectacular show it was!

Right from the moment we arrived, our pupils represented Holly Grove brilliantly. We received wonderful compliments from both the theatre staff and our coach drivers about how well‑behaved, polite, and enthusiastic the children were. We couldn’t be prouder!

The performance itself was packed with everything we love about panto:
🎭 Brilliant costumes
🎶 Lots of singing
👏 Plenty of interaction
🐄 A talking cow
💄 An amazing Pantomime Dame
🤣 And of course… Simon, who had everyone laughing!

We even had our very own Holly Grove star moment…
Simon took quite a shine to our own Mrs Sutton! Who somehow ended up on the stage! The children were delighted — and so were the teachers!

To add to the fun, there were water guns spraying into the audience… and the actors definitely seemed to aim for the teachers!

The children’s feedback has been fantastic — they had a brilliant time…
Oh yes they did!

It was a joyful, memorable day out for everyone, and we’re already looking forward to the next magical theatre adventure.
