Residential Visits
During the Summer Term, we take Year 6 students for a weeks residential stay at Standon Bowers; which is a historical residential setting and a great base for exploring the great countryside of Staffordshire. We have a varied range of activities during the week, including: indoor caving, archery, orienteering, team building activities, including raft building (and testing!!) team ski's, bridge building, flying eggs and many more!
We usually spend a day off site at the Roaches, which is a great day out! Where the children crawl, jump and squeeze between and beyond the many wonderful boulders in the area. We have evening activities including map reading, photo trails, games on the field and even a camp fire! The residential helps them to become more independent and look to the future - High School is only a few weeks away! They make friends, share experiences, have a go at things they would have never usually had the opportunity to have tried! All in all, its a great experience for the children, one they will never forget!
Have a look at some of the pictures we have taken over the last residential's and look out for more!
More to follow soon!
