Yr5/6 Greek Day
Ancient Greek Day
The year 5/6 children had a wonderful day on Wednesday 28th September 2016 when Timezone came in.
The children got a chance to learn about some of the city states and have a debate over whether Sparta or Athens was going to lead us all in to battle against the Persians. After a heated debate, it was decided that Athens should lead us, as they would be able to come up with the best strategy to win.
Later the children got a chance to learn how to play some Greek games and learn about what it was like to learn how to write Using Greek letters and numbers.

The children all had an enjoyable day and were commented on how fantastic they had been by Timezone.
