Dear Parents / Grandparents
Do you have spare time?
If so, the children and staff at Holly Grove Primary School would love you to join us as a Volunteer Helper.
We need helpers in a variety of roles:
• To help in individual classrooms with admin- such as preparation of resources and
photocopying.
• To support small groups of children with their learning (under the direction of the class
teacher).
• To help in the library, tidying and sorting books or giving out maths games from maths library
• To help sort out lost property
• To listen to children read.
At present our volunteers come into school either one morning or one afternoon a week and have been placed in a year group where they are comfortable (from past experience we feel it is best for your child if you are not working in the same class)
