Cooperative Trust Consultation
The Governing board of Holly Grove Primary School met on 5th December to consider the outcome of our recent consultation to change the status of the school from community to foundation school and form a Co-operative Trust with Ridgeway Primary, Chase Terrace Primary and Highfields Primary Schools from 1st January 2018.
In the initial period of consultation the proposals were received positively and therefore the Governing boards of each school published a statutory notice and informed the Department for Education of their proposals. There have been no objections to the proposals and therefore the Governing Board having considered all responses have decided to proceed to change the status of the school and form the Trust with effect from 1st January 2018.
We thank you for your responses to help the Governors decide on their course of action and we are confident that the change of status will enable us to work closely with other likeminded schools to the benefit of the children.
